ARENAS STRAIGHT TO Q2 WITH 14TH QUICKEST TIME

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“It was a positive day from the first lap: conditions were a bit critical this morning, with the wet track and lower temperatures, but we still managed to be competitive. This afternoon, unfortunately, we saw all our quick-lap attempts cancelled due to yellow flag situations, but the important thing was to be seeded directly to Q2. We also had a small crash, our first of the season, and this also helps to understand our limit. Now we’ll work on the bike set-up and I also have something to adjust: we’ll try to have a good qualifying tomorrow.”

DARRYN BINDER #15

“A little bit of a tricky free practice this morning, with wet patches, but the track was improving lap by lap. Overall I felt alright this morning, then we made a good step forward in the first run of the Practice: the lap-time was really close but unfortunately on my final time-attach I made a small mistake going into turn 10 and I lost the front. Overall everything is ok, so we’ll try again tomorrow”.
