Company Gresini Racing

Managed by two-time 125cc class world champion Fausto Gresini recently passed away, Gresini Racing has been in Grand Prix motorcycle racing since 1997, achieving prestigious results: in addition to the 5 titles won in 2001 with Daijiro Kato (250cc), 2010 with Toni Elias (Moto2),  2018 with Jorge Martin and the Del Conca Team Gresini (Moto3), and 2019 with Matteo Ferrari (MotoE), the 61 wins and 186 podiums earned, there are also the MotoGP runner up titles achieved for three consecutive seasons, in 2003 and 2004 with Sete Gibernau and in 2005 with Marco Melandri plus the 2018 one with Fabio Di Giannantonio (Moto3). Gresini Racing has also been home to top calibre champions such as Alex Barros, Loris Capirossi, Colin Edwards and Marco Simoncelli.

Today Gresini Racing is a reality that faces a new challenge: the 2022 season sees the team on the MotoGP grid as Gresini Team MotoGP, a new Ducati satellite team in the top class. An all-Italian team with the return of Enea Bastianini and the promotion from Moto2 of Fabio Di Giannantonio. In Moto2 another return with Alessandro Zaccone and a new arrival with Filip Salac. The adventure in MotoE also continues…

Behind the sheer spectacle and success of the Gresini Team lies a top-flight enterprise that handles every single aspect of this extraordinary business: from marketing to communications, from operational management to technical preparation. The Racing Department

The sporting and technical ‘heart’ of the Gresini Racing, the Racing Department, has four independent high-tech workshops: it’is here that the bikes are set up and fine-tuned. Each box can house two bikes and is completed with its office and warehouse of spare parts and equipped with the most innovative equipment. There is also an engine room for assembling engines, a workshop area with machine tools, a room dedicated to bodywork manufacturing and repairs, a warehouse for the storage of materials and a special area for the production of the racing liveries of the bikes.
