SEPANG: ARENAS STORMS INTO Q2 WITH THIRD QUICKEST TIME

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“A good start: I immediately felt good and fast, exactly the same way we left Australia. Today was one of those days where logging a competitive lap-time comes easy and naturally: I only had to focus on the track conditions, which changed along with the weather, but we managed to do so. Now we need to stay focused ahead of tomorrow, I want to start the race at the front in order to have a solid race.”

DARRYN BINDER #15

“First day in Malaysia: we tried to bring all the positive from Australia over here. This morning we didn’t manage to get everything together but I was quite confident for this afternoon. I went out for the first run trying to find the pace when unfortunately midway through the Practice session I had a small crash in corner 15: I manage to get the bike back to the pit and my team got it ready, we manage to improve but not enough to pass through Q2. Overall the feeling is not to bad and I’m sure we can improve some small things for tomorrow and hopefully find our way to a good grid position.”
