“Today I worked a lot in preparation for Sunday. The temperatures were not ideal, but the feeling on this track is already good. We still need to improve — the sensations are not yet the same as last year, but we’re working on it, and tomorrow, with the track a bit warmer, we can do better. We’re working to be as competitive as possible.”

“Today, both in the morning and in the afternoon, I felt good on the bike. The feeling is positive, and that was the goal for the day. Q2 was within reach, but we weren’t lucky with the many yellow flags. In any case, after Le Mans I needed a Friday like this. I’m finally feeling comfortable with the new tyre, and tomorrow it will be important to focus more on race pace. There’s still time to break into the top 10 tomorrow, even though we’ll have to go through Q1.”
