SACHSENRING: GARCIA JUST ONE TENTH AWAY FROM DIRECT Q2, PAWELEC CONTINUES HIS LEARNING PROCESS
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“A pretty positive first day overall. In Practice, I was missing something during the second outing because we had more potential than we were able to show. Now we need to work on the bike for tomorrow, as I’m still lacking a bit of confidence, especially through the fast corners. I can also shave off a few more tenths with my riding. If we improve both aspects, we can have a strong day tomorrow!”
MILAN PAWELEC #40
“This is a completely new track for me. I knew it would be difficult, but it’s probably even tougher than I expected! This morning I had a small crash at Turn 4, but the team repaired the bike quickly and I was able to get back out, improving corner after corner. Practice also helped us learn a lot more. We know where we can improve, and we’ll work on that tomorrow. It’s a short and technical circuit, very different from the ones I’m used to, but by putting in more laps I’m sure we’ll get closer to the front.”
