ROUND 4: QATAR

It’s already time to fly for the fourth round of the season, one of the most evocative race of the 2025 calendar: we’re talking about Qatar, the only track where the race is held at night.

Albert Arenas can’t wait to get on track: in Texas he found the speed and a good feeling on his Kalex, but he wasn’t able to prove it in the race. Here, on the Lusail Circuit, he is ready to close the circle, collect points, and step-up in the championship standings.

The situation is different for Darryn Binder, who broke the middle metacarpal of his left hand during the Texan qualifying. After surgery, he has fully focused on rehabilitation and recovery and he feels ready to get back on the bike, but the medical check in Qatar is necessary for the final OK.

The ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 team will start the engines for the first free practice session on Friday, at 11:50 (UTC TIME).

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“I have always liked the Lusail Circuit a lot: after Austin, we are coming from a moment that is not great in terms of results, but good in terms of feeling. I felt fast and strong, and Qatar is the ideal place to bring out all these good feelings: I can’t wait to get back on track and redeem myself after the race in Austin”.

DARRYN BINDER #15

“I’m feeling a lot better, recovery is going really well. I started physiotherapy last Wednesday and I can see already a big difference: swelling went down, and the movements and strength are coming back really good. I went back to training, everything is back to normal: I’m definitely feeling 100% confident to come back for Qatar. I’m really excited to race there, it is a really good track, and the most exciting part is to ride at night: definitely one of the coolest races of the calendar: looking forward to it!”
