Enea Bastianini Injured In Right Wrist After Training Accident

Gresini Racing Team Moto3 rider Enea Bastianini sustained a fracture to his right wrist after crashing heavily yesterday during an off road training session in preparation of the French Grand Prix.

After a consultation with Dr. Michele Zasa from Clinica Mobile, it was decided that the 18-year-old Italian rider will undergo surgery this afternoon at the Hospital of Rimini under the direction of Doctor Giannicola Lucidi, to stabilise the fracture with the insertion of a plate.

Bastianini’s desire is obviously to get back on track in Le Mans next 8th of May, although it will be possible to make a more precise prediction regarding his recovery time after surgery.
