A CHALLENGING OPENING DAY AT THE CATALAN CIRCUIT: ARENAS AND BINDER MISS OUT ON DIRECT SEED TO Q2

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“First day here at Barcelona: clearly it didn’t go as we expected. This morning, we had a quite good session, but the conditions changed in the afternoon and we couldn’t adapt to them the best way. We couldn’t secure the access to Q2, so we’ll need to work hard and try again tomorrow. We’re not too far off, but unfortunately at this track a small adjustment can make a big difference. We’ll try to find the best direction for us and then try to make the difference tomorrow.”

DARRYN BINDER #15

“It’s been quite a difficult first day: we knew the grip here would have been quite low, but it is the same for everyone. I’ve been trying my best to find some more speed but just haven’t managed to make the step I was looking for. We’re going to keep working on it for tomorrow, in order to make a step forward and close the gap to the front riders”.
