Agrimola Confirms Moto3 Commitment And Hits The Track Alongside Bastianini And Di Giannantonio
Agrimola S.p.A., leading company in the production of frozen fruit and in high quality processing of chestnuts, will race together with the Gresini Racing Team Moto3 also in 2016.
The Agrimola logo will be featured on the fairing of the two Honda NSF250RW Moto3 machines ridden by Enea Bastianini and Fabio Di Giannantonio: this week, the 18-year-old from Rimini and the 17-year-old rookie from Rome will be out the track in their new colors, presented last Friday at the Gresini Racing headquarters in Faenza. The first official test of the season is in fact scheduled at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, in Spain, from 2nd to 4th of March.
Founded in 1978, Agrimola S.p.A. soon became a leading manufacturer of high quality frozen fruit for a total of about 150,000 quintals per year, as well as a leader in the manufacture, processing and marketing of chestnuts, with an overall percentage of export close to 40%.
The processing plant of Casalfiumanese (BO) is located near the hills of Imola district, in the valley of Santerno, in northern Italy, and enjoys the benefits of the local microclimate that favors the cultivation of apricots, peaches, plums and browns. The headquarters are processed globally every year more than 70,000 quintals of marrons and chestnuts, fresh products mainly for the consumption of high quality.
The Agrimola group also has factories in Peveragno (CN), which is specialized in the collection and processing of fruit and vegetables; Roccadaspide (SA), which is specialized in the collection and processing of chestnuts, browns and other fresh fruit and vegetables as well as in the production of dried chestnuts, chestnut flour and other flours, and Vallerano (VT), an area that has always been particularly suited to collection of chestnuts. The Agrimola group then processes every year a total of approximately 150,000 quintals of fresh marrons and chestnuts.
