ALCOBA THE ONLY MOTO3 STANDARD BEARER OF GRESINI IN TEXAS
#AmericasGP. The Austin weekend will be one of first times, with team Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3 making their debut at this track with Jeremy Alcoba, who had never touched ground in the USA before and saw the track on in TV and with videogames. The good news come from the fitness side of things for the Spaniard, who seem to have overcome the left-hand issue which started after a big crash in Aragon.
This will also be the first time in the season for the Faenza-based Moto3 team with only one bike in their garage. The Honda NSF250RW machine of Gabriel Rodrigo did not leave Europe, and will be seen again in Misano at the end of the month. The Argentine rider is currently recovering from the fracture in the head of his left humerus.
JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (14th in the championship standings – 60 points)
“I’ve been waiting to get to know this track for a couple of years now, and finally I will be able to do so. This will also be my first time in the states, so this experience will be very exciting. From my time using the PlayStation I must say this looks like a circuit that can suit well my riding style – although things can be very different once there. The good thing is that we have found back a good feeling with the bike and we will in better shape there, with the left hand that improves a bit every day.”
