ARENAS BOUNCES BACK UP TO EIGHTH PLACE IN THE ALGARVE GP

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“After starting the race from sixteenth position, I was able to display a fast pace from the get-go, comparable to the top five riders. I’m happy with the set-up we chose for the race, which allowed me to put together a good performance while saving the front-tyre a bit better compared to previous rounds. My pace was consistent until the end, I had fun and managed to complete some great overtakes, making my way up to eighth: this leaves us with a sweet taste in our mouths ahead of Valencia.”

SEGIO GARCIA #3

“To be starting from so far back on the grid was an obvious sign that it would have been a tough race: I got in a good position to start my comeback in the early laps, but then I went wide. Then a rider who crashed collided with me and the airbag was deployed, making my riding difficult. I was still able later to focus again and recover my rhythm, while improving my riding. Now we think about Valencia, we have another opportunity and I can’t wait.”
