ARENAS PUTS TOGETHER A COMEBACK IN BRNO TO SECURE TOP TEN FINISH FROM 20TH ON THE GRID

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“It was a comeback until the end: after a really tough weekend we managed to find a good rhythm that allowed us to make our back into the top ten from twentieth on the grid. The bike balance wasn’t perfect but we brought home the best possible result and to turn around what had been an uphill weekend. We took a gamble also with the front-tyre choice: this is not the type of result we were looking for at this round but we can head into ‘holidays’ knowing we had a solid, consistent and strong race. We’ll have a test day tomorrow, which we’ll help us confirm a few things we worked on in recent races and to try and improve the bike setup, in order to be more than ready to return to the podium in Austria.”

“Brno race done and dusted! I was hoping top find my way to the points today, but unfortunately I came a couple of positions short of that. Overall I felt like I had the right pace during the race, but it was just not fast enough. Luckily we have a test here tomorrow, so we can try a couple of things and find a little bit more speed t be faster. Anyway we’re going into the summer break now: a couple of weeks to reset and find my fit in order to come back ready to go again!”
