ARENAS MISSES OUT ON Q2 DIRECT SEEED FOR ONLY 0.071s: WE WILL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“It was a challenging opening day at Balaton: unfortunately we were unable to find an ideal set-up straight away to get up to speed. Things went better in the last Practice run as we took the right direction, but unfortunately it was late and I could only do a few laps. We’re therefore in fifteenth place, missing out on the Q2 direct seed for very little. We’ll make the most of tomorrow morning’s FP2 to be ready for qualifying. It’ll be key to have a good result and to start near the front: this track is very narrow, making it very difficult to overtake”.

DARRYN BINDER #15

“Friday done and dusted in Balaton: new circuit for us all and it’s quite a cool track and definitely very tight and twisty. It took me a couple of laps to get my head around it. Let’s go to sleep tonight in order to wake up tomorrow with a fresh mind and let’s try again to close the gap to the front guys and hopefully improve a little bit more”.
