ARENAS THIRD QUICKEST AS HE SECURES DIRECT SEED TO Q2 IN PORTIMÃO PRACTICE

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“I can say it was a good day, as we worked a lot on the set-up ahead of the race, trying different configuration in order to gather key information and understand which one will be the better option. Our goal for the weekend was to be strong in the race, especially in the second half as the tank gets emptier: we’ll have another session tomorrow morning to confirm the direction taken and then hopefully we’ll have a good qualifying, before enjoying the beauty of this circuit on Sunday.”

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“It was a quite positive first day: we worked a lot to adapt to the bike, meaning the handlebar and footpeg position, and I felt good already in Practice. Unfortunately it started to rain and we couldn’t improve, but the goal for the weekend is to work well together, improve in each session as if it was a test, so I’m sure we’ll be able to make a step forward already tomorrow.”
