“Today I started off really strong in the dry and the feeling in the morning was really good. Too bad for Q1: unfortunately, I couldn’t do two laps with the second tyre, otherwise given the ideal time we would have made it into Q2 and qualified a lot closer to the front. We were stronger today than in the last two races and I’m confident with the work we did: we couldn’t capitalise today, but the race is tomorrow. It’ll be tough from twentieth place on the grid, but the goal is to make up as many places as possible and be consistent throughout the whole encounter”.

“It’s a really disappointed end of the weekend, unfortunately I had a crash during Q1 and I’ve broken the middle metacarpal in my left hand so I’ll be ruled unfit for the race tomorrow. I’ll have surgery tomorrow and hopefully I’ll be back as soon as possible!”
