GOOD FIRST DAY FOR NAVARRO AT LOSAIL
Thursday saw the first practice sessions for Jorge Navarro on his debut weekend with the Federal Oil Gresini Team on the Kalex Moto2 machine. The Spaniard finished the first session 16th fastest and placed 12th in the second practice. A best lap of 2’01.234s was his fastest time of the day and left him seven tenths from P1 on the timesheet.
The Valencian rider put in 36 laps in total concentrating his work on finding the best settings, with a specific focus on the rear suspension. On Friday he will participate in FP3, scheduled for 5:55pm Italian time.

“Today we started working seriously with the bike, because during testing the weather conditions did not help much. The second session was affected by the wind, but it was still a positive day. The feeling with the bike is not perfect yet, but we tried various things that will be useful over the weekend and I think that tomorrow we can take a good step forward.”
