COMEBACK FOR LOPEZ, GARCIA UNLUCKY
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“I’m really happy with how things went today: we worked very well and that allowed us to adapt in the best possible way to today’s conditions. I also managed to get a good start, and these two things together helped us wrap up this Sunday with a solid seventh-place finish. Starting with this result gives us a lot of confidence — now we just have to keep working like this and gradually aim higher and higher.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“It’s a day to forget: at the first start I felt good and had a strong pace, then the red flag came out. I got off to a good restart but then I crashed, ending this Sunday early. Luckily nothing is broken, just a cut on the index finger of my left hand, which I’ll now have to treat to avoid any risk of infection.”
