CONTINUITY FOR GRESINI MOTOE WITH FELO-FERRARI-FINELLO COMBO TO RETURN IN 2025
Gresini Racing and Felo will once again partner in the 2025 MotoE World Championship, with the Faenza-based team and the Chinese company shaking hands for the fourth consecutive season.
The focus is on continuity also with regards to the rider line-up: MotoE veteran Matteo Ferrari – who has been a standard bearer for Gresini in the electric-powered class since 2019, the year he was crowned the first-ever MotoE champion – is looking forward to re-join the battle for top positions following an underwhelming 2024 campaign.
He will be joined once again by Alessio Finello, who has been consistently improving his performance and results throughout the years and now aims at making the definitive step towards the front of the field. The mutual trust between the Turin-born rider and his team will be key to set the bar even higher.

“2025 will be our seventh year together: this is an important milestone after many seasons and – above all – lots of beautiful moments together. 2024 was the toughest campaign for us but it taught us a lot, and now we are ready to face another challenge together. It will be interesting: there will be a new circuit, in Hungary, and I am really fascinated by it. The season will start late in April, but this will allow us to be even readier and more motivated. We are ready to start on the right foot, we have learned a lot from this year’s mistakes, and we have all the right cards: I know we’ll do well”.

“My fourth year in MotoE and with Gresini will start soon. I am really happy with this continuing project: in 2022 we told ourselves that the important thing was to grow, and we did it season after season, together. In 2024 we made a good step, but 2025 will be difference maker. Our goals have changed: last year we were aiming for the top 10, whilst in 2025 we want more, and I am sure I can do it by continuing the great work done with the team. I’ll work hard in the offseason to be ready, and train as hard as I can. Continuity is crucial for me: third year with Ducati, with the same team and teammate. This beautiful relationship has been growing over the years, both at working and emotional levels, and this gives me even more stability and excitement. I am happy and can’t wait to start – we are aiming high! The 2025 calendar will be a tough one: there will be Hungary and we will finish late in the year, in Portimão.
