DIFFICULT QUALIFYING FOR ARENAS AND GARCIA: A COMEBACK RACE IS EXPECTED TOMORROW!

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“It was a difficult qualifying, in which we were unable to make the most of our speed. This morning, we chose to not take to the track due to the tricky conditions and this likely penalised us; in qualifying, we maybe took the wrong direction. In any case, we have a good pace and we showed it: a good start will be key tomorrow and to keep our pace, which is good, to make up as many positions as possible.”

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“Today was a challenging day: unfortunately, this morning’s track conditions were quite difficult. It did stop raining but the track was wet and it dried up throughout the session; I was feeling good with wet tyres, but these conditions prevented us from working towards a good set up for the dry. As a consequence, in qualifying we lapped as much as we could, but the feeling wasn’t ideal: we’ll look at the data and work to improve tomorrow.”
