BACK-TO-BACK ROUNDS IN AUSTRIA FOR THE INDONESIAN RACING GRESINI MOTO3
One month to train, rest and recharge ahead of the second half of the season. Gabriel Rodrigo and Jeremy Alcoba are now ready to head to Spielberg, Austria, the venue hosting two crucial back-to-back events for the Moto3 World Championship.
It has been a quiet month of July for Team Indonesian Racing Gresini Moto3, who arrives at the two Austrian events in the best possible conditions. Gabriel Rodrigo loves this track – he was on pole in 2017 and 2020 – and he has finished plenty of times inside the top ten there in the past.
For Jeremy Alcoba, this trip will be a bit more challenging as the circuit does not suit his riding style really well. Still, this was the place where he made his world championship debut with Team Gresini back in 2019.

“There’s great desire to go back racing and especially in Austria, where I claimed two pole positions in the past and some good race results. We were quick last year with the Honda there and I think we have the right potential to do great there this year. We’re rested, ready and with plenty of energy for these two back-to-back rounds, where we’ll try to aim for the best possible result.”

“Let’s say the last result in the Assen race has given me plenty of motivation for the summer break. We know we’re going to struggle in Austria as it’s not a circuit that suits my characteristics perfectly, but we have enjoyed a good break and we’re arriving in Spielberg in perfect mental and physical conditions, which are crucial for these two rounds and, generally speaking, for the second half of the season as my expectations are high.”
