FERMIN COMES BACK STRONG IN JAPAN, ALEX’S WEEKEND TO FORGET
ALEX MARQUEZ
“It was a weekend full of mistakes and one that needs to be forgotten quickly. I made two mistakes again today, one of them unforgivable in the warm-up and then another one in the race. I’m angry with myself, but fortunately we’ll be back on track again in just a few days. We were fast today, not quite fast enough to fight for the podium, but without the penalty we probably would have stayed inside the top five.”
FERMIN ALDEGUER #54
“I felt good today, maybe even better than yesterday. From fifth place onwards, we were lapping at pretty much the same pace, which is definitely a positive. Riding like that helps put the mistakes we made over the weekend behind us. We gained several positions and were fast. Physically, I’ve improved day by day, so we’re heading to Indonesia hoping to keep progressing and have a good weekend. I have great memories from there last year…”
