FERRARI LEADS AS MOTOE SEASON FINALE APPROACHES
The electric season is about to draw to a close and Team Trentino Gresini MotoE gets to Le Mans, a new track for the series, in the lead. Matteo Ferrari is currently on top of the MotoE standings albeit with a small margin over his opponents, and this could still be crucial in a weekend that could have a lot of surprises in store, starting with the unpredictable weather.
With four and seven points over Aegerter and Torres (without forgetting Casadei at -15), Ferrari cannot make any calculation, especially in light of the two individual races taking place at the French venue. It will be crucial to make no mistakes and to find the best feeling with the Energica Ego Corsa machine in only two free practice sessions.
This could be a very important weekend also for Alessandro Zaccone, who showed brilliant form in Misano, as the Italian will aim for a good qualifying and, why not, even the front of the field in these final two all-electric encounters of 2020.

“We are ready, and just like last year we get to the final race of the season as leaders, which is obviously an advantage. Our margin is not as big as in 2019, but to get there at the top of the standings is still important. We never raced at this track with MotoE and surely the weather will play its part. We will only have two free practice sessions to understand the track, but we have the experience factor on our side, and we’ll give our very best, as usual. Only one comes out victorious and I hope it will be us once again.”

“Le Mans will be quite the challenge: this is a track that I’ve never seen or ridden upon. We will only have two free practice sessions but I’m ready for it. We made a good step forward in Misano and now it’s all about doing as many laps as possible in order to improve with this bike.
