FINELLO TO COMPLETE MOTOE TEAM LINE-UP FOR 2022
The Gresini family can now be considered complete. The missing piece for the 2022 season is Alessio Finello, a young rider from Turin who will race alongside Matteo Ferrari in the garage of Team Felo Gresini MotoE.
Soon to be 24 (on February 27th), Finello approaches a whole-new category for him while making his debut on the world scene. His racing experience includes so far several seasons between Moto3, Supersport600 and National Trophy in the CIV (Italian Championship of speed) and the participation to the Italian Supermoto championship, too.
Alessio Finello’s journey will officially begin with the first MotoE test at Jerez next 7th of March, even though the work at the Faenza-based racing department has already begun.

I truly cannot wait to get started: it is an honour for me to be doing this step up in my career with Team Gresini and to be taking part in the MotoE World Championship. It’s a new category that has caught my attention already. I’ve been following it since 2019 and to race there was a goal of mine! A big thank you goes to the team who gave me this opportunity; it will surely be a challenging season due to the lack of experience, but I cannot wait to get started. I will take a little holiday now before fully focusing on the first test of the 2022 season.”
