GARCIA AND PAWELEC FROM THE BACK IN THE DUTCH GP
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“This morning we weren’t doing badly, the feeling was good and we were expecting a better qualifying result. In Q1, however, I wasn’t able to replicate the same lap time: during the first run we didn’t set any time because of the yellow flags. Then, in the second run with a new tyre, I wasn’t able to find the same feeling again or be as fast. Now we’ll see what we can do for tomorrow’s race, where the goal will be to recover as many positions as possible.”
MILAN PAWELEC #40
“Today the temperatures were extremely high again. This morning I felt good; we made a good step forward, improving my fastest lap by half a second, confirming that we are heading in the right direction. In qualifying it was even hotter, which made things more difficult. I slightly changed my lines to try to be faster. We finished qualifying in 27th position, but we learned a lot, and we leave the day without any crashes or major mistakes. I still have a lot to learn from the faster riders, but I’ll do my best in the race to make up positions and bring home a better result.”
