HUNGARIAN GP: EIGHTH PLACE AND EIGHT POINTS FOR LOPEZ, WHO GAINS ONE POSITION IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS

ALONSO LOPEZ #21

“Today I was expecting a different race. I struggled with rear grip right from the start, which made the bike quite difficult to ride. We still managed to salvage the weekend, and eighth place was the best result we could achieve. Now I can’t wait to get to Brno: our potential is much greater than this, we can fight at the front, and I want to get back on track to prove it.”

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“It was a difficult race, especially from a physical standpoint. I had to grit my teeth just to make it to the finish. Tomorrow I’ll go to Barcelona to understand how to solve the issue with my forearm. Of course, the result wasn’t down to that alone—we struggled throughout the entire weekend, and starting from twenty-fifth on the grid, we couldn’t expect much more than this. Now we’ll sort out the physical issue, reset, and start again from Brno.”
