ITALJET GRESINI MOTO2 TEAM GEARS UP FOR A DOUBLE-HEADER: LE MANS AND BARCELONA
The Moto2 World Championship heads into a crucial phase of the season with back-to-back rounds at two highly technical and representative circuits: Le Mans and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Two very different layouts that will put set-up work, tyre management and rider adaptability to the test.
The ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 Team arrives at this double-header with encouraging signs in terms of technical development and rider-bike feeling. Lopez is determined to bounce back from the crash in Jerez, where he had shown front-running pace. Garcia used the last round to log valuable track time and rebuild confidence, gathering important data and now aiming to capitalise on the work done in previous rounds and strengthen his on-track consistency.

“I can’t wait to get on track in Le Mans: the team and I are working really well together, and we understand each other better every round. It’s also a circuit I really like, and I hope it will be a turning point where we start to collect the results of our work: we’ve worked a lot and we are ready. Then we go to Barcelona, a track where I’ve always been fast but never managed to convert it into a strong result. This year it will be crucial to manage the tyres better and turn our speed into a top performance all the way to the finish!”

There will definitely be a lot to work on, but we are confident and can’t wait!”
