JAPANESE GP: LÓPEZ CROSSES THE FINISH LINE IN NINTH
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“I’m fairly happy. We gave it everything we had, but there wasn’t much more we could do. On the first lap, I tried to gain as many positions as possible and then find my rhythm. We know what we’re missing: for the next race, we’ll work on those details and get ourselves ready to fight for the TOP 5 and enjoy ourselves!”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“Unfortunately, my race ended too early. I ran wide at Turn 11 and, when I rejoined the track, the bike was lifted by the kerb and the front closed on me. It’s a shame because the feeling wasn’t bad, so now our focus is on Indonesia. It will be tough, the temperatures will be high, but we’re in good shape, prepared, and we want to have a strong race.”
