Jorge Navarro wraps up successful first Moto2 test at Jerez

Jorge Navarro and the Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 ended yesterday the first test in preparation for the 2017 season: the second day of testing at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit saw the 20-year-old Spanish rider covering 75 laps, the best in 1’43”756, thus closing on a positive note his very first contact with the Kalex Moto2 machine and his new team.

The Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 is now moving to Valencia, where two more days of testing at the Ricardo Tormo circuit are scheduled on 21 and 22 November.

JORGE NAVARRO

“It was a positive second day of testing: the sensations with the bike are getting better and better and I’m happy with the work done with the team. We worked mainly to improve the feeling with the rear when I’m opening the throttle and at the end of the day I felt very comfortable, so I’m satisfied. I’m happy with this first test, I can’t wait to get to Valencia to continue to learn”.
