LOPEZ STRAIGHT INTO Q2 WITH THE TWELFTH FASTEST TIME
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“Today was a crucial day. We tried many things that helped us understand what we need. We have a lot of potential and we can make a significant step forward by working well tomorrow morning, which will allow us to be ready for the race. Tomorrow afternoon we will have qualifying: we are already in Q2 and we can do well. Starting from the front rows will be crucial to manage Sunday’s race in the best possible way.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“Not the best day for us. We worked quite a lot but we are still missing something. Tomorrow morning we have a good long run planned to test our race pace. Then we will have to go through Q1, but I will give everything to get into Q2 and have a good qualifying.”
