BEST RESULT OF THE SEASON FOR BULEGA AT MISANO

Everything that could happen happened today in the #EmiliaRomagnaGP Moto2 race, with the rain shuffling the card twice. A red flag first, followed by a “start delay” that surely complicated things on track.

Nicolò Bulega put together a good performance by matching his qualifying position (10th) while scoring the best result of his season so far.

Edgar Pons got closer to the top-15 by crossing the line in 20th place, a result that gives the Spaniard a confidence boost, especially in light of last week’s DNF.

No time to rest for Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 who will travel to Barcelona for the ninth GP of the season.

10th – NICOLÒ BULEGA #11

“I wasn’t feeling too comfortable at the start of the race with the full tank and the early laps were not as quick as I’d have liked. With such a sprint race like this one it was crucial. In the end we got a decent result that shows our growth, but it’s still not enough.”

20th – EDGAR PONS #57

“It was a bit of a crazy race and it was hard to manage the situation. Even if the final position wasn’t what I wanted, I’m a little happier because I feel confident with the bike and despite the little number of lapsI managed to battle and overtake several riders.”
