NAVARRO EAGER TO STEP UP HIS GAME AT MUGELLO

Team Federal Oil Team Gresini Moto2 is ready to tackle the Italian Grand Prix of the Moto2 World Championship, which takes place this weekend at the Mugello Circuit. Jorge Navarro arrives to Italy with the aim to turn his season around and leave behind the previous performance at Le Mans.

The 21-year-old Spanish rider has had mixed results in the past at this track: in his first showing in Moto3 at Mugello, Navarro was seventh at the chequered flag of the Moto3 race; last year, he had to pull out of the encounter after nine laps, after starting from the second row of the grid. Navarro is now eager to reap the benefits of the two-day private test performed last week at Misano.

JORGE NAVARRO #9

“We get to Mugello for a very important race, especially for my team and I’m willing to do my very best there, even something more. The Misano test was a positive one and we were able to find some things we were looking for in the previous races, so I think we can do well in Tuscany and turn the page on Le Mans. We’re aware of what we lacked there and I’m sure the incredible atmosphere of Mugello will give us some extra motivation for a great result!”
