NAVARRO LOOKING FOR MORE IMPROVEMENT IN TEXAS

Austin’s Circuit of Americas will host this weekend the third racing weekend of the Moto2 World Championship, the last one before the European part of the season gets underway. Jorge Navarro and Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 arrive to Texas with the goal to continue improving their performance and results.

After securing his first Moto2 Championship point two weekends ago in Argentina, the young series rookie from Spain hopes for a big step forward on a track that saw him taking second place both on the grid and in the Moto3 race last year, in order to continue his learning curve in the championship.
With some relaxing time in Bueinos Aires and some good fun at Colin Edwards’s Boot Camp, Navarro is now ready to start the weekend with the first free practice of the middleweight class of MotoGP, which is scheduled for Friday at 10:55 local time (GMT -5).

JORGE NAVARRO #9

“We were able to take a few days off between Argentina and Texas. We were in Buenos Aires sightseeing and visiting some family. Now I’m in Austin already: I had the chance to visit my friend Colin Edwards’s Boot Camp and now I’m ready to take on the American Grand Prix. This is a track I really like and I think we can do very well here. The feeling with my Kalex is improving each time out so I’m confident we will be able to make another step forward in Texas.”
