NAVARRO: “AN ENCOURAGING TEST, NOW ON TO LE MANS TO SHOW OUR POTENTIAL”

It is fair to say that the Jerez weekend has left a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth at Gresini, especially in the Team Federal Oil Moto2’s garage. Because of that, there was no better way to start over than to get back to the track in order to leave the #SpanishGP behind.

At Motorland Aragón, Jorge Navarro managed to complete a great number of laps after starting with Jerez’s settings and finding himself very comfortable aboard his Kalex #9 machine. The only thing left now is to wait for the next racing weekend to turn this potential into good results.

Two crashes – one each day – have surely slowed Navarro’s work down a bit, but they did not prevent him for lapping with continuity and outstanding pace.

JORGE NAVARRO #9

“These two days have been very positive for us, as we kept working on the base set-up we found at Jerez de la Frontera. We had another proof that our works well on every type of track – as Jerez and Motorland Aragón are two very different circuits. The bike behaved really well even with only few tweaks, so now we can’t wait to right the wrongs at Le Mans.”
