THE FEDERAL OIL GRESINI TEAM HEADS TO SACHSENRING FOR THE NINTH EVENT OF 2018
Jorge Navarroreturns to action at the Sachsenring for what is the ninth round of the 2018 Moto2 World Championship. The Spanish rider of team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 has already raced three times at the German track – two in Moto3 and one last year in Moto2 – and was always able to finish within the top-seven.
After getting back in the points and finding some fresh confidence, the Valencia-born rider is looking to turn the hard work into results and place his Kalex machine within the top-seven – his official goal for the weekend.
Moto2 riders will take to the track at 10:55 local time (GMT +2) this Friday, with the middleweight class race at Sachsenring scheduled to begin, as usual, at 12:20 on Sunday 15 July.
JORGE NAVARRO #9
“The Sachsenring is not track I like the most not only for the layout but also because it does not suit my style well. Having said that, we have always done well there. Last year I had my best Moto2 result there and after a consistent race at Assen I get to Germany with the will to do well. We needed to finish the race in Holland and we did it, and we showed we can be quick on a single lap: we now need to put this all together and do well in the race.”
