PRACTICE RUINED BY RAIN: BOTH RIDERS IN Q1

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“I felt quite comfortable this morning in the rain, a bit on the limit when it started to dry out. Then this afternoon we started off well, but after a couple of laps I went back to the pits and then the rain came, before I could get back on track and improve. We’ll be on double duty tomorrow, as we’ll be forced to partake in Q1. We’ll now work at the best of our possibilities in order to be ready for tomorrow.”

DARRYN BINDER #15

“It’s so good to be back in Brno after all these years: the new asphalt is really nice. Unfortunately this morning we had a mixed conditions, a wet track slowly drying up, but not enough to put the slick. This afternoon instead we managed to get out on the slick and to put on six laps before the rain came again. Lap by lap I was getting the feeling: this is my first time here in Brno with a Moto2 and we were trying to find our fit as quick and fast as possible, but unfortunately the rain came again. Anyway it was good to have a couple of laps and let’s hope on a good weather for tomorrow!”
