READY FOR THE SECOND ROUND: ARGENTINA
The team ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 is ready to take off for the second round of the season, which will be held in Argentina, at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, where the last race has been back to 2023, when Binder crossed the finish line in sixth position, Arenas 9th.
The team comes from a solid first round, where Binder has shown consistent growth in the different sessions, which he want to confirm in the next race, while Arenas found a good pace and a good base, and he’s ready to use it from the first session to be able to start in the front rows, and then make the difference in the race.
The two ITALJET GRESINI Moto2 standard-bearers will start the engines for the first free practice session on Friday, at 12:50 (UTC TIME).
ALBERT ARENAS #75
“We return to Argentina after a year off, I’m curious to see what the track conditions will be like. Our approach will have to be competitive from the first session: we want to make a step forward and stay ahead in the championship. Compared to Thailand, it will therefore be essential to make an improvement and I’m sure we can do it: in the first round I rode well and I have a competitive base. We still have to work on some details, but I’m confident: we’re on the right path and we’ll get where we want to”.
DARRYN BINDER #15
“It’s really exciting to be going back to Argentina again, I’ve got some really good memories there and it’s a circuit that I really like. Considering how things went in the first round of the year in Thailand, I feel like there was a lot of positive to take, so I’m gonna take all of it in Argentina, trying to repeat it in every practice sessions and qualifying, and try to put everything together for a better race. I’m overall excited to go and looking to make all-around a good weekend!”
