#SOLDARITYGP: IN BARCELONA, RACING FOR VALENCIA
A final round that will have a different taste this year: we won’t be in Valencia, but we will race FOR Valencia. The #SolidarityGP will take place in Barcelona: the stakes are high for Manuel Gonzalez, who with this last race can aim for the third place in the championship, where he is now fifth, just six points from the top3. It will be essential for him to make the most out of it and be competitive in every single session, do an excellent qualifying and start from the first rows, to then play it all out in the 21 laps of Sunday’s race.
After a season of ups and downs, where he managed to demonstrate his speed in qualifying, but was not able yet to achieve a great result in the race, Albert Arenas is ready to reap the rewards of all the work done and conquer his first podium of 2024 in his home race. He is highly motivated, and knowing that he is racing to support the Valencian Community will be an extra boost for him to do well.
Gresini Racing will actively participate in the charity auctions that will be held at the circuit and online, hoping to be able to help as many people as possible who are now in difficulty, convinced that even the smallest contribution can make the difference.

For my side, I know it can be a good weekend, it is a circuit that I really like. But what matters most is the reason of the event: to help the city of Valencia. We hope to end this season in the best possible way, achieving the goal of third place in the championship: we are close and we can do it.”

“Obviously it will be nice for me to end the season at home, on a circuit that is special to me, but obviously it will be a delicate GP, we will race to help Valencia and our thoughts go to all the people who have been affected and now need help. I will give it my all, I want to finish this season at my best, I will give everything and more: I would like to finish with a podium and I will do everything I can to get it”.
