A STOIC ALEX GOES TO Q2, TWO CRASHES FOR FERMIN
ALEX MARQUEZ #73
“I’m very tired today, I rode very ‘stiff’ today and this surely is more demanding on the body. This morning we were cautious, while things went well in the afternoon. It’s clear that it’ll be a whole different story tomorrow and on Sunday: the rain could give us a hand, even though there’s a higher risk to crash in wet conditions. Race-pace wise, both Diggia and Marc are very strong.”
FERMIN ALDEGUER #54
“It was a challenging first day with two crashes that could have been avoided. The potential is there and so is the rhythm with used tyres. I struggled more in the time attack as I generally lacked feeling. Fitnness-wise I feel good, we simply have to adapt to a track I like but at the same time is very different to those we recently raced upon.”
