THE 2025 GRESINI MOTO2 LINE-UP IS OFFICIAL: ARENAS CONFIRMED, JOINED BY BINDER

Let’s start with the new entry for QJMOTOR GRESINI Moto2: Darryn Binder. Young, with a valuable CV in Moto3 and why not, with Jack Miller, one of only two riders who made the direct jump from the quarter-litre class to MotoGP. The intermediate class has not been kind to him so far, but the experience gathered by the South African appears to be perfect for a comeback season.

Speaking of comebacks, this will also be the talk on the other side of the pit-box… The newly confirmed Albert Arenas has had an up-and-down season so far. The Spanish rider shone especially in qualifying but has not managed to capitalise on race time yet. He has performed well overall and that is the reason behind the renewal for the #75, as all the party involved are confident their level will be a whole lot different in 2025.

DARRYN BINDER #15

“I’m really thankful for the opportunity to be racing with Gresini Racing next year, I’m really looking forward to it. I feel like I’m starting to make progress and hope to carry the momentum to towards the end of the season. Then the goal is to keep improving throughout 2025 and hopefully to battle for great results. I can’t wait for the new season to start!”

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“I’m very happy to continue with team Gresini Racing also in 2025. This year we’ve had some positive moments so far, even though there have been challenges, so I’m confident regarding the team’s potential. The goal is to keep growing and to battle for top results, and I’m aware that we can achieve these goals together.”

LUCA GRESINI – TEAM MANAGER QJMOTOR GRESINI MOTO2

“We decided to confirm Albert Arenas because we believe that his talent is much higher than what he’s shown so far in Moto2 – which is a really competitive class. We’re sure his experience will make the difference, hence the contract renewal for 2025. We then chose to bet on Darryn Binder, who since he has already raced in MotoGP, has developed the right awareness that will allow him to do well also in Moto2. He has endured two challenging seasons, also due to injury. We’re confident he’ll feel at home with us, as we’re aiming at bringing him to the positions that are more in line with his talent.”
