TOP 10 FOR LOPEZ, STRAIGHT INTO Q2

ALONSO LOPEZ #21

“I’m quite happy with today. From morning to afternoon we managed to better understand the conditions and adapt accordingly. However, I think we can take another step forward tomorrow on this track, which is quite difficult, especially with the weather conditions that made the sessions even more challenging. I’m happy, the team is working really well and I’m excited for tomorrow!”

SERGIO GARCIA #3

“This afternoon was complicated: there were still corners with quite a lot of water, and it wasn’t easy to understand how much to push. At the end of the session I managed to improve, but not as much as I would have liked. Now we’ll study the data to understand where we can improve: I definitely need to work on Turn 4, where I’m always at the limit, but I’m confident. Physically I feel good: tomorrow we have Q1, which will be a good opportunity to better understand the track conditions, which will be key for a good qualifying.”
