TOP TEN FOR TEAM ITALJET GRESINI MOTO2, WITH BINDER SIXTH AND ARENAS TENTH

DARRYN BINDER #15

“Happy with how the things went today: I didn’t get the best of starts, so I felt like I really had to push quite hard in the beginning. I may used too much the rear tyre the first couple of laps and at the end I felt like I was just struggling to hang on that podium battle. Overall I’m happy with my race and I’m feeling good: looking forward to Texas!”

ALBERT ARENAS #75

“A challenging race, but with a comeback. The goal was to have a good start and a competitive first lap and we did that. Then I managed to make my way into the top ten, but then obviously I stressed the brakes and the tyres in the first part of the encounter, meaning I struggled a little in the final stages. We did have a good pace though, which could have allowed us to be further ahead. I’m happy for the team, as both of us finished in the top ten: we’ll build upon today’s result. We can still improve in some areas, both on the bike and with regards to my riding style: we’ll focus on that and to have a better qualifying in the upcoming races, in order to make a further step forward.”
