FINAL DOUBLEAHADER AWAITS INDONESIAN E-RACING GRESINI MOTOE AT MISANO
Fifty points up for grabs, 32 to recover. It would be almost a mission impossible if it was not for the fact that Matteo Ferrari is historically the king of electric motorcycle racing at the Misano World Circuit ‘Marco Simoncelli’. Of five MotoE races contested so far at this track, the #11 rider of the Faenza-based team has scored four wins and a third place.
There is still room for dreaming of gold, with the 2019 title winner eager to get on track to show he is still the man to beat around the friendly corners of his home track, while Andrea Mantovani is looking forward to wrapping up his MotoE season in style. Two good results on a track he knows like the back of his head could allow him to make a big jump up in the standings, as the top ten is currently 18 points away.

“About Misano, we are getting closer to our home event, and I think it will finally be the moment to return to the front once again. We need to make amends for the Austrian race, where we showed that we can be competitive. We’re still mathematically in the title battle so the first goal will be to bag the best possible result in both races, and then let’s see what happens. The important thing will be to show our speed once again, and I cannot wait to be back on home turf… it always helps after difficult times.”

“This season has really flown past and we’re already at the final two races. I’m really charged up and motivated also because we’ll have our home fans ready to support us. I’m hoping to have a weekend in which I can improve session after session like I did in Austria, with the difference that I know Misano very well so I won’t have to learn the track, but simply try to find the best settings for the bike with my team.”
