US GP: LOPEZ CROSSES THE FINISH LINE IN SEVENTH POSITION
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“The race didn’t go as we wanted: I think it’s just a matter of time to fully understand this bike. I’m still lacking a bit of experience and we still need to make a few small changes. I’m sure that little by little we’ll start fighting consistently for the positions that matter—we want to be at the front.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“This weekend everything went wrong, from the difficult qualifying to the race ending at the first corner with a crash. We’re going home with a dislocated right shoulder, a double long lap penalty for Jerez, and zero championship points. Now we have a few weeks to recover and arrive in Europe ready to turn around this first part of the season.”
