LÓPEZ CHARGES TO SIXTH AT SILVERSTONE AS GARCIA BREAKS INTO THE TOP 10
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“Today, we were expecting a different race. I thought we would be able to stay further up the field. It will certainly be a lesson for us, and we’ll have to work on rear tyre consumption. The speed is there, and now we know what we’re missing. We’ll be ready for Aragon. We’re taking home a sixth place and 10 championship points. Now our focus is on the next race, where we can do much more.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“Today, we had a really good race, our best result of the year. I have to say that the feeling on the bike was really positive; I felt good. Yesterday, the feeling was already good, but today we made a significant step forward, which allowed me to improve lap after lap. We head home feeling confident and sure that we can also have a great weekend in Aragon!”
