LÓPEZ DOMINATES THE ARAGON GP AND RETURNS ITALJET GRESINI MOTO2 TO THE TOP STEP
ALONSO LOPEZ #21
“Incredible! I didn’t expect to be able to put together a race like this. I knew I had some very strong rivals to fight against. I managed to set the pace, I felt really good right away, and I was able to avoid making any mistakes. Now, though, I want to maintain this level! We worked really well, and I’m very happy and proud of what we achieved. And this is my first win here, which makes it even more magical.”
SERGIO GARCIA #3
“Today’s race was quite difficult. I wasn’t able to find my rhythm or make the comeback I would have liked. Now we’ll look at the data to understand what didn’t work and make sure we’re ready for Misano, which is Gresini’s home race, and I want to do well there. I want to thank my whole team because they’re doing an incredible job helping me improve. We’ll try again in Italy.”
