NAVARRO TO AIM EVEN HIGHER AT SILVERSTONE

The last four Grand Prix have seen Jorge Navarro crossing the finish line to a crescendo that brought the Spanish rider battling for the podium in the last race at Spielberg. For the British GP, Jorge will look for more consistency aboard his Kalex machine, while trying to aim even higher.

The rider of Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 team has good memories of Silverstone, a track where back in 2015 he secured his maiden world championship pole position – in the Moto3 class. In his rookie season last year, Navarro easily finished in the top-15.

The twefth round of the Moto2 World Championship will begin on Friday at 10:55 local time (GMT +1), while the race will get underway after the MotoGP encounter at 14:30!

Jorge Navarro #9: “After four positive races and a good progression, we head to Silverstone with fresh and great motivation, although with still both feet on the ground. The approach is the same: work hard session after session and try to improve on our Spielberg result. I trained this week but also relaxed a little. This is a track where I always felt comfortable, especially in Moto3, so we are positive about our chances to do well.”
