DIGGIA ON GREAT FORM WITH TOP FIVE QUALIFYING

#ItalianGP qualifying. It is once again Fabio Di Giannantonio the rider waving high the banner of Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2. After a good race-oriented FP3 session, the Italian rider #21 had to tackle a Q2 which was affected by a few drops of rain.

His 1’51.355s lap-time was worth of a second row start (5th), a position from which  he can express all his potential from 12:20 local time (GMT +2).

A challenging Nicolò Bulega who lost his chance to battle in Q2 at turn 5 this morning, before having a hard time also in Q1. He will start tomorrow’s encounter from row eight.

5th – FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21 (1’51.355)

“I must say that today’s qualifying were quite challenging, with very challenging conditions. We are still struggling too much while changing direction and I still lack some front-end feeling, but in any case fifth is not too bad. Too bad, because I really wanted to be on the front row at Mugello, but we will have to do some more work in order to be really competitive here.”

 24th – NICOLÒ BULEGA #11 (1’52.455)

“we struggled quite a bit and we’re far from the ideal feeling with the bike. I’m not losing a lot but it happens jn every part of the track, so tomorrow is going to be hard, but we need to aim at the top 15.”
