DOUBLE MOTOE RACE AHEAD FOR TEAM TRENTINO GRESINI AT MISANO
The home GP awaits Team Trentino Gresini MotoE, who will try to claim their first podium in front of the friendly crowd at Misano World Circuit. It will be a very important weekend for both Matteo Ferrari and Lorenzo Savadoriwho can count with an improved feeling with the bike and the support of friends and family, on a track that both riders know like the back of their hands.
The weekend schedule changes for the weekend, with the team led by Fausto Gresini that will face FP1, FP2 and E-pole already from Friday. Free Practice 1 will get underway at 8:20, while the E-Pole will begin at 16:05 local time (GMT+2), with the FP3 session disappearing from the timetable and the first race placed at 16:15. Race two (10:05) will wrap up the third and penultimate weekend of the season.
Being a double-race weekend there are high stakes for this round, with the classification that could change dramatically according to results: Ferrari is currently in sixth place with a 19-point gap from the top, but also Savadori – who lies in sixteenth position – could make a big jump up with a brace of good results on home soil.

“It’s the home race and obviously I’m super motivated. Because of the two races this is going to be a very important weekend, so it will be crucial to do well. After the race in Austria the minimum goal is the podium, because I feel we could have got it there, too, so there is no place like home to make that step forward. I’m really confident because I have a great feeling with the team and it will be important to understand together how to make a difference. I hope it will be sunny even though I didn’t too bad in the wet, though I still hope for a dry weekend!”

“It’ll be a pleasure to race at Misano and we will do our best. Obviously the season didn’t start the way we wanted but we’re improving race after race and the goal will be to keep growing, hoping to get closer to the top. With the support of the crowd it won’t be hard to find some extra motivation!”
