ELECTRIFIED FOR THE SECOND ROUND: LE MANS
Race Preview – #FrenchGP This weekend at the Circuit of Le Mans, the World Championship of the both silent and fascinating electric motorcycles will get track for the second round; two races will be fought over the weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
After Jerez we find Matteo Ferrari in 4th position in the world standings, 24 points from the top. The #11 rider will try to work hard this weekend to be consistently in the top positions and take home two more podiums.
The French GP will instead be a new restart for Alessio Finello: the strong emotions of his debut in the world championship did not help the #72 rider in the first two races, but at Le Mans he will have a double opportunity to redeem himself.
The FELO Gresini Racing MotoE riders will hit the track for the first session on Friday at 08:25 (GMT +2)

“In this weekend off from the MotoE championship I participated in the Italian championship, an excellent training in view of Le Mans: I’m super excited! Here we will have to take another step: in Jerez we went well and we took home important points, but here the goal is to always stay in front from FP1, not only in the leading group, but in the lead. I like Le Mans, even if the weather conditions are always a wild card: in the past years we have managed to be competitive regardless of these. In 2020 I fought for the title on this track, we were fast but also unlucky. So I’d like to redeem myself with a podium, or rather two, why not! ”.

“I’m happy it’s already time to leave for Le Mans, having a second weekend close to the first will allow us to redeem ourselves immediately from the first round: the Jerez debut was not exactly what I dreamed of and having another race right away will give us the opportunity to fix the situation a little. Honestly, I don’t know the track and I don’t know what to expect but I can’t wait to get out on track for FP1: the team is doing a great job, in Jerez we have taken the right direction, which we will continue here too. The goal will be to collect points in both races and above all a lot of experience “.
