GRESINI MOTO2 IS READY TO LEAVE: ARAGON FIRST AND THEN OFF TO ASIA FOR THE JAPANESE AND THAI GP

Trio Preview After the home grand prix, the Gresini Racing Moto2 riders are ready to begin a triple adventure. The first stop will be in Spain, at the MotorLand of Aragon, a track that has given Alessandro Zaccone so many memories and beautiful podiums in the Moto2 category of the CEV 2020. This year he will be riding a Moto2 again, but this time in the world championship; the desire to replicate the result and rediscover these feelings is huge for the rider number #61, who returned to the points zone in Misano.

The team from Faenza will then move to Asia for the next two rounds: the Twin Ring of Motegi, in Japan, and the Buriram International Circuit in Thailand, where Filip Salač has already raced, but only in the moto3 category. He will therefore have to readjust his references to best ride his Kalex number #12.

Moto2 track action starts on Friday at 10:55 (GMT +2) with the first free practice session in Alcañiz.

FILIP SALAČ # 12

“It won’t be easy to get back on track for us after the huge crash in Misano, I will need a couple of laps to regain confidence and I’ll try my best to make it grow over the weekend with the goal of finishing the race after two zeros caused by big crashes. On the other hand, I am looking forward to the Asian races, I was there last time in 2019 and it was beautiful. I really like the Motegi circuit and sushi even more! The goal in Japan and Thailand will be the same: to collect points in both.”

ALESSANDRO ZACCONE # 61

“I really like Aragon, I raced there in CEV Moto2 where I won two races. I’ve always been strong there, even in SuperSport, so I’m really happy that this is one of the round of the world championship. On the other hands there will be the two Asian races: two new circuits for me, definitely both looks like very nice tracks seen from the outside and I’m very curious to finally race on them!”
